The Dutch company European Sleeper operates one of the longest night train routes in Europe: the ES 453 from Brussels to Prague (returning as ES 452). The journey takes over 16 hours, with stops in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Dresden. Running two to three times a week, this route connects major tourism and business destinations across Western and Eastern Europe. Along the way, the train passes through Saxon Switzerland and the picturesque Elbe Valley.

Good to know: Since ÖBB discontinued its Nightjet NJ 424/425 between Brussels and Berlin at the end of March 2025, European Sleeper is now the only night train option between these cities.
